Expos! Expos! Expos!

Have you made your registry yet? Yes? Great!! No? Why not? Is it because you don't know what to put on it? Research and asking friends and family with kids can be helpful, but what better way than to go check out items first hand and hear from the people who know the products best. Even if your registry is already set, you may learn something new and change your mind. I sure did.

And, don't forget about the freebies!!! Free samples, items, coupons and also really great deals on things you may know you want, or fall in love with there. Now, don't go crazy. I, personally have never bought anything at an expo. Every booth will give you a coupon or discount code that you can use online to purchase their product if you do not get it that day. I, also, always went without my partner (most men are very bored at these types of things), but still wanted to discuss products with him first to decide if it was something we felt we could use and benefit from.

Some Expos can be very expensive. Check around for free tickets before you buy, or other ones that may be coming up soon that may be cheaper. I really enjoy the ones by Expecting Parents and Baby (you can find them on Facebook) because they are usually about $20/family and often have specials where you can get free or discounted tickets. They also have awesome welcome bags and booths. My favorite are the ones from Huggies and Babylist (which were at both I went to) because they both have amazing things to give away.

Another great thing to check out, if they are not at an Expo you go to or you can't make it to one, is Pumpspotting. It is an app that lets you know places near you that are good for breastfeeding or pumping, but they also have an RV that travels around providing information, a place to breastfeed, pump or ask questions about it from other mothers and volunteers, and often have freebies to give out. Like them on Facebook to keep track of where they are.

Below is an image of everything I got from one Expo, just to give you an idea. Each expo is different, but there is always great things to get and learn about at each one.
